Marine Lipid Concentrate:
This human grade high quality fish oil comes from fish living in the cold North Atlantic waters. It is concentrated
to increase the EPA (Elcosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid). Dr. Dee Blanco (veterinarian in Santa
Fe, New Mexico) believes that carnivores respond better to an animal source of Essential Fatty Acids in their diet.
Borage Seed Oil:
Contains the highest concentration of gamma linolenic acid (22% minimum) of any other oil. GLA is the direct precursor
to beneficial prostaglandins (PG-1 family). This oil is unrefined, unprocessed and not chemically treated in anyway.
Flax Seed Oil:
Cold pressed from certified organic flax seed. This oil contains nature's highest concentration of Omega 3 fatty
acids (alpha linolenic acid).
Wheat Germ Oil:
Contains a large amount of naturally occurring vitamin-E and octocosanoe which assist in healthy heart and nerve
functions. Wheat germ oil also contains substantial amounts of the phytochemicals known as lignans which are known
for their hormone-like activity and stimulation of the immune system.
Lecithin (Non GMO):
Derived from soybeans, lecithin is a phospholipid or type of fatty acid derivative. Phospholipids are key components
of the membranes of cells. Lecithin also contains choline, a precursor of the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine,
and alpha linolenic acid, the essential Omega-3 fatty acid.
Spirulina:
This is one of nature's greatest "super foods." A blue-green micro algae, spirulina is a rich source
of chlorophyll, amino acids, RNA and DNA, mixed carotenoids, including beta carotene, the Omega-6 fatty acid gamma
linolenic acid, food-bound trace minerals, B-complex vitamins, including Vitamin B-12, the anti-oxidant super oxide
dismutase, and mucopolysaccharides. Spirulina is effective in assisting the liver in its detoxification process
and helps to protect the kidneys from toxic insults. The blue pigment in spirulina, phycocyanin, has been shown
to inhibit cancer colony formation in the laboratory and enhance neurotransmitter formation. In this formula, the
spirulina serves as a synergist activator for the fatty acids, and thereby increases the potency of this formula.
Sea Bed Trace Minerals:
A blend of naturally occurring micro and macro minerals found in ancient deposits of fossilized sea beds. These
minerals are highly bioavailable, and provide many of the necessary co-factors involved in the absorbtion and utilization
of the fatty acids found in this formula and in your pets diet.
Vitamin E:
Used in this formula as an anti-oxidant and preservative
